Folk Road Show

Folk Road Show are an international group that make your living room feel like a theater and a theater feel like your living room. As the name suggests , they are anything but a conventional band and more a traveling folk variety cons i s ting of four s inger-songwriter s from three continents : Dominique Fricot (CAN) , Benjamin James Caldwell (AUS) ,Olaf Caarl s (NL) , and Nick Petrowich (CAN) . Between 2014 and 2019 they toured both Canada and Europe extens ively, taking the roots- americana harmonies of the Band and CSNY and painting it with the youthful spirit of Fleet Foxes and War on Drugs . Folk Road Show released their self-titled debut album in 2016, the follow-up Gold in 2017, and an EP, ‘Thought You’d Never Ask’, in the spring of 2019, before the pandemic sent them each back to their respective corner s of the world. However, they are currently working on new material, and the year 2023 will see the release of new songs , as well as a tour in the summer months to take care of, in their words , “Unfini shed Bus ines s”.
